Training: Local Lodge Leadership
We will be hosting a Lodge Leadership Training for Lodge Officers on Friday, February 24, 2023. This training is free for FOP members to attend, but you MUST Register to attend. This seminar will focus on Per Capita, Roberts Rules of Order, Tax and Treasurer basics, as well as the sharing of ideas among Local Lodge Leaders.

Hospitality Event - Friday, Feb 24, 2023
The 2023 Winter Board Meeting will be hosted by the State Lodge. We will be hosting a hospitality room on Friday, February 24th beginning at 7:00 p.m. The Hospitality will be located in the Okemos Event Center (across the parking lot from the Best Western)
Board Meeting - Saturday, Feb 25, 2023
The meeting will start promptly at 10:00 a.m. A lunch will be served for all of those who register to attend. The cost of attending the Winter Board Meeting is free but we ask that every attendee register in advance so we may provide the correct amount of seating and lunch.
Hotel Info
The Okemos Event Center shares a parking lot with the Best Western Okemos. A block of guest rooms have been reserved for February 24, 2023 at a rate of $85.00 single or $95.00 double plus tax. To reserve, call the hotel directly at 517-349-8700 and ask for the Michigan FOP Board meeting block. All reservations need to be made by February 4, 2023.
The Best Western of Okemos was fully renovated in 2018 and includes a full hot breakfast free for all guests. Parking is also free. Hotel check-in time is 3:00pm and check-out time is 11:00am.
