NOTICE OF EXAMINATION FOR POLICE OFFICER

The City of Cadillac and its Civil Service Commission are accepting applications for full-time Police Officer. The Commission will conduct examinations on April 3, 2023, to establish an eligibility list used to fill vacancies, per Act 78 of 1935. The city presently has the need to hire multiple police officers. Details of the examinations will be provided to eligible candidates.

The Commission is interested in receiving applications from both certified police officers and non-certified applicants who are interested in becoming a police officer.

Requirements at time of application for all applicants: minimum 18 years of age, HS diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Applicants must pre-register by submitting an Employment Application. Applications accepted until 5:00 pm on March 31, 2023. Starting pay for MCOLES certified officers is $24.64 – $26.68 DOE with full benefits including pension.
